One of our advanced Bushcraft Courses the Woodlad Ways Week will allow you to deveop your Bushcraft Techniques for a more prolonged period of time.
The Woodland Ways Week is our advanced Bushcraft course and is designed to evolve and heighten your Bushcraft Skills. Previous bushcraft knowledge and experience is desirable (althought not essential) to attend this course. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of this course please give us a call to discuss.
Throughout this 5 day course you will become increasingly immersed into the rhythm of the Woodland. Our instructors will enable you to make full practical use of the resources available to you in a sustainable manner, and to understand your effect on the balance of the wood.
Through the week we gradually reduce your reliance on modern equipment so that by the end of the week you are using only natural materials for all your Bushcraft activities.
Skills covered through the week are a variety of different game, mammal and fish preparation techniques, long term shelter building, shelter heating, friction fire lighting (Bow Drill), tracking, stalking, wood carving, flint knapping, cordage, trapping and snaring, wild foods, tree identification, constelations, water collection, filtration and purification and the course concludes with a woodland sauna on the Friday.
