This 6 piece Billy Can set comes in at just 780 gms, making it an ideal addition to the rucksack. They all stack into the larger of the billy cans and then sit nicely within the storage bag. Each pan lid can double up as a frying pan, and each pot has a bail style handle which makes it easier to suspend over the open fire.

The set includes
1 x Nylon Codura Storage Bag
1 x Large 6 Pint Pot, 7" diameter 5" deep
1 x Medium 4 Pint Pot, 6" diameter 4.5" deep
1 x Small 2 Pint Pot, 5" diameter 4" deep
1 x Large Frying pan pot lid, 7" diameter 2" deep
1 x Medium Frying pan pot lid, 6" diameter 2" deep
1 x Small Frying pan pot lid, 5" diameter 2" deep

So what do our instructors think: Here Jason writes:

"In 2007 myself and one of our other instructors, Dan, walked coast to coast for some bizarre reason we still cannot fathom. On this trip keeping weight to a minimum was essential, and so I took the small and medium pot and frying pan only from my set. With just this I was able to cook and feed myself with a plenty varied menu, using one for water (pasta/rice) etc and one for additions. I bought my first set of these about 10 years ago and have had to replace them once... I drove over my first set in the wood in the Landrover which is hardly the manufacturers fault!"

Advantages: These are pretty light when you consider that there are 6 different cooking utensils here. And we like the fact that they all nestle together therefore cutting out bulk. Also if you just take the large pot with you a small MSR gas canister fits lovely inside.

Disadvantages: Well... you can't drive over them in a landrover! We have found that they can be a little difficult to shine up again once they have been used for a number of times. But this is not really that important... rather it gives them that well used, campfire look we find!
