Snake Skins XL for Hennessy Hammock description :
So what do our instructors think? Here Jo writes:
" I only purchased a set of these for myself just recently and I must say I am very impressed. They make the set up time much quicker because the fly sheet is already attached to the hammock and if its raining your hammock stays totally dry. Without the snake skins you have to set up the hammock first before attaching the fly sheet and (depending how long you take to do this..!) your hammock gets wet! With the snake skins on this doesn't happen. The snake skins themselves are also waterproof so you can store your hammock in them and tie it to the outside of your rucksack and they will stay dry!"
Advantages: Very easy to fit and use. Faster hammock set up time using snake skins, stops your hammock from getting wet if you are erecting it in the rain. Keeps your hammock clean as it never touches the ground. Snake skins are lightweight and waterproof.
Disadvantages: Hammock will not fit in the stuff sack supplied with a Hennessy hammock with the snake skins fitted.
