A tough, rot proof, military issue hammock... does exactly what it says on the tin. If your on a tight budget then you will not go too far wrong with this extremely tough piece of kit.

This is a nylon net hammock, with thick paracord attached on either end using suspension rings. The netting is held together using metal clasps and the beauty of this piece of kit is that it will withstand being stuffed into the side pocket of the rucksack... hauled out when needed... and then stuffed back in without a thought when you leave!

So what do our instructors think? Here Alec writes:

"Basically for the price this is a good honest piece of kit... it is not the most versatile or comfy of hammocks on the market, but if you want these then you need to expect to pay for them... but I like the simplicity, honesty and strength of this army hammock. Its also lovely and light coming in at only 312g!"

Advanatages: This is a hammock on a budget, you get what you pay for and for your money you get a tough, durable, lightwieght hammock that will not let you down.

Disadvantages: Its not a hennesy or a trekmate... the more you pay, the more versatility and features you get... don't forget too that you will need a basha!
