Kupilka Cutlery Set

The Kupilka Outdoor Range is made in Finland using environmentally friendly natural fibre-composite.

Kupilka means "little cup". The word Kupilka comes from the Finnish word for cup which is "Kuppi".

Many years ago Finnish men and women warmed up their hands with their "Kuppilka" or "little cup" by drinking hot beverages during the rough Finnish winter.

Kupilka products are made from a natural fiber composite material. They consist of 50% wood fiber and 50% polypropene. The fiber which is used for the Kupilka Outdoor Range is pine fiber.
They do not absorb smells or tastes and do not require any maintainence like wooden products do.

At the end of its life-span the product can be safely disposed of by burning or recycling.
It has a natural pine trunk appearance.

This cutlery set consists of a knife, a fork, a spoon and a tea spoon.
The complete set weighs 56g (approx)

So what do our instructors think? Here Jo writes:

"Jason bought me a Kupilka snaps cup as a gift and it inspired me to investigate the full Kupilka range. When I saw them I knew we had to stock them. They are light weight but durable and easy to clean, they look great and are very practical for outdoor use."

Advantages: Look better than plastic cutlery when out in the woods! Solid structure, dishwasher safe, humidity resistant and hygenic. Will not taint like wooden products can.

Disadvantages: Due to their natural appearance you might struggle to see them if you put them down on the woodland floor!
