This olive paracord is very strong and tough making it ideal for all outdoor activites and uses. It has a breaking strain of approx 550lbs (250 kilos) and features a protective wear resistant sheath. The braided inner cord can be utilised as a fishing line or for sewing. It is rot resistant and comes supplied in 15m (50ft) lengths. It is perfect to use to secure your basha when sleeping out under the stars.

Supplied without packaging therefore more environmentally friendly.

So what do our instructors think? Here Jo writes:

"We regularly use this paracord on our courses for a huge variety of applications, as it is so strong we use it as the cord on fire bow sets for friction fire lighting. I've used it as boot laces before and as a washing line. I always carry a roll around with me in the bottom of my rucksack as you never know when it might come in handy!"

Advantages: Olive green colour so in keeping with the environment. Rot resistant, very strong: 550lbs breaking strain. Wear resistant sheath so prolonged life.

Dissadvantages: Takes a long time to rot away if discarded in the environment.
