Reindeer Leather Hunting Rucksack 16L description :
For centuries, the reindeer has served as the primary source of livelihood and raw materials for the Sami in northern Scandinavia. Reindeer leather is particularly pliable and soft yet retains a high degree of toughness.
This beautifully compact Reindeer leather hunting rucksack is made 200km north of the arctic circle near the border between Sweden and Finland.
It is a classic rucksack design with an extra outer pocket, it has wide adjustable shoulder straps, a carrying loop and reindeer antler buckles. It is approx 16 Litre volume. It has a zip pocket under the front flap and a removable wooden part frame inside for extra support. The closure of the the rucksack is a leather draw cord complete with leather toggle. Size approx 32 x 28 x 18 cm. Weight approx 740 g.

"These hand made Reindeer leather rucksacks are not only beautiful to look at they practical too, they are hard wearing and being a 16L size it is prefect as a day sack. The antler buckles really finish it off giving it that extra special feel and I think it would make a great but practical present for someone"
Advantages: Made from hard wearing Reindeer leather, water resistant, perfect size for a day sack. Hand crafted to a very high standard.Traditional design.
Disadvantages: We appreciate this is not the cheapest 16L rucksack you can buy but as it is all hand made it is unique and we think its well worth the money!
