Steridex anti bacterial hand cleaner is a non-toxi gel which is ideal for keeping hands hygenically clean in an outdoor environment or when water is in short supply. It does not require any water or soap to use. Simply pump a small amount into the palm of your hand and rub all over you hands, paying particular attention to the area around your finger nails where dirt/germs collect. As it contains alcohol it will evapourate dry in a few seconds so no towel is needed.

It comes in a handy pump container and has a twist lock so it will not accidently pump out in your rucksack. Does not freeze. It is environmentally friendly and kills 99.99% of germs. Biocide tested against MRSA and E-Coli.

Advantages: Kills 99.99% of germs & doesn't leave any sticky residue. Due to the alcohol content in the hand cleaner it will not freeze and it works well at altitude. Pump bottle with twist lock so will no leak on to your kit. Can also be used as tinder for lighting a fire as it will take a spark from a fire steel and burns with a blue flame as the alcohol burns off.

Disadvantages: Doesn't remove visible dirt. Stings if you have a cut or scratch on your hands!
