Our Tracking Weekend is our most popular course with people who have attended the Woodland Ways Weekend.
This weekend Tracking Course will not only help you to develop an understanding of animal tracks and how to interpret them but more importantly this knowledge will enable you to get closer to wildlife.
Not only will we provide you with an intense introduction into tracks and signs but also how to understand gait pattens, compression shapes,action indicators, aging footprints and interpreting kill sites.You will learn characteristic animal behaviour and also how to construct your own hide.
There will be the opportunity to prepare game for the table, vegetarian alternatives are also available.
Our instructors have many years worth of experience tracking both in the UK and overseas and will work with you to develop your stalking techniques and teach you how to move silently through the woodland.
You will also learn about natural camoflague, interpreting the landscape to your advantage and to develop your peripheral vision.
