THE leading bushcraft & survival skills magazine available on the market. With articles from some of the most respected and knowledgeable instructors within the industry this magazine is quite literally cutting edge (excuse the pun!) historical knowledge sharing. Woodland Ways is proud to support the magazine at many shows around the country and our instructors write our "How to" section within each mag.

If you have been on a course with us you will know the wealth of information that our instructors hold, now imagine a field full of such people that are there just to share this information with you... and you have the annual bushcraft show! We will be there, come and say hi, but also some of the other leading companies within our industry are there to welcome you. Try your hand at making an axe, or join us for some dutch oven cookery, a relaxed wonderful weekend of knowledge sharing. Do come and say hi if you attend.

The foragers is a network of like minded foragers based from the Verulam Arms in St albans. Woodland Ways is proud to provide proffesional instructors for their monthly foraging walks/talks and demonstrations held in the pub and around the town.

Our highly respected friend Tristan Gooley is the author of The Natural Navigator, one of the world’s only books on natural navigation. Tristan is one of those true gentlemen that cannot help to inspire you. He is the only living person to have both flown solo and sailed singlehanded across the Atlantic and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and the Royal Geographical Society. If that was not enough then he has written for the BBC, the New York Times, Geographical Magazine, Yachting Monthly, The Financial Times and many other periodicals. Tristan has also led expeditions in five continents, climbed mountains in Europe, Africa and Asia, sailed small boats across oceans and piloted small aircraft to Africa and the Arctic. He operates a school running natural navigation courses and is highly regarded as a leading authority on natural navigation.
