So What Have we been up to?

As the school holidays kick off we have been incredibly busy;-

27th-30th July.

Adam was out & about in Edale instructing on the two day Woodland Ways Walks – Int. Map reading and Navigation Course, Joe delivered the Wednesday Friction Fire Lighting Bow Drill Workshop and Jay delivered the same skill to his international students in a private school in Berkshire.

 31st-2nd August.

On this weekend we saw Adam & Ian delivering the Woodland Ways Bushcraft Weekend in the Belvoir estate, while Danny & Saxon delivered the more advanced Woodland Ways Bushcraft Weekend II, in Oxfordshire. Jay will be delivering foraging to his international students.

3rd-12th August.

Ian & Saxon were in our Bedfordshire woods delivering a Family Survival Course  & Jay was delivering his spoon carving workshop followed by Shelter building & Navigation at a private school in Berkshire.

We then hosted four back to back Family Survival Courses. Firstly Jason and Ian headed to our Leicestershire woodland & then Jason handed the reins to Adam as he joins the guys for the following Family Survival Course. Meanwhile in Oxford Danny & Saxon delivered the other Family Survival Courses, joined on the second one by Nathan Beard. The Guys then both delivered a Half Days Gentle Forage – Wild Food Foraging Course in their respective locations.

Adam, Kev & Jay instructed on two Teenagers Fundamental Bushcraft Course also in our lovely 250 acre woodland in Oxfordshire.

 

13th-16 August

Jason & Danny attended  The Wilderness Gathering in Wiltshire, as Kev & Jay are were back to demonstrate at The Adventure Travel Film Festival in London. whilst weekend as Jose, Ian, & Saxon ran a Family Survival Course

Then without pausing for breath!!

 What’s coming Up

17th – 20th August

Danny and Lawrence are in the process of delivering  a fully booked Woodland Ways Week – 5 Days Survival Course.  Adam is at The World of Bushcraft for Wednesdays Carving a Spoon Workshop. Only a couple of places let on this one now, if you can make it give the centre a call (01234 351006) Kev & Jay are then doing a Bushcraft & Canoe day at Marston Vale.

21st -23rd August

This weekend sees Adam & Danny running a fully booked Bow Making course in Belvoir. Ian & Jay Deliver a Woodland Ways Weekend, there are still a couple of places available, so why not come & join them. Kev and Lawrence  run the same fully booked course over in our Oxford woods.

24th– 27th August

Kev, Danny & Jay will be in our Bedfordshire woods for a private school booking.  We welcome Joe back after a well-deserved holiday and join him on Carving a Swedish Kuksa Cup Workshop
