Antler Ring Making Workshop

The deer beats at the heart of Woodland Ways, so much so that it is at the centre of our emblem. Nothing represents deer more than the majestic crown of antlers adorning the head of a mature stag in its prime.

This naturally renewable and sustainable resource is an incredible material, utilised by our ancestors for thousands of years, right up to the present day, from Tools used to excavate the flint from the ground to then to knap them, harpoons and arrow points used for hunting, buttons and toggles for clothing and carrying, whistles for signalling, the list is almost endless.

In this workshop learn to fashion, craft, and embellish your very own unique antler ring with the expert guidance of our instructors to keep or give as a gift to last a lifetime.

All tools and materials to take part in the workshop are provided.

Workshops are held at our World Of Bushcraft Centre in the Peak District, where free tea and coffee will be available.
