The Casstrom Safari was designed by renowned English custom knife maker Alan Wood known for his exceptional hand made Bushcraft knives.
This compact hunting knife has a 6cm stainless steel hollow grind blade. The full‐tang blade construction, features a tapered tang and is made in 12c27 Swedish Stainless steel (HRC 59).
The tapered tang and shape of the handle makes the knife very nicely balanced and comfortable in the hand.
The Safari comes with a sturdy brown leather sheath. The design combined with the materials used in it's manufacture mean that this is a resilient piece of kit, with both form and function. Ideal as a small skinner for small deer and as a small belt knife for safari hunters.
The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 which is very popular stainless steel used in the manufacture of Scandinavian knives due to its good combination of good edge performance, hardness and corrosion resistance.
The handle is available in three variations, stabilized curly birch, Black G10 and Orange G10, all are tough, water resistant and low maintenance.
